Founded in 2015

Our Representative Director, Mitsuko Takahashi experienced an incident during her visit to Thailand which led to the origination of “Haa Baht Inc.”.

5 baht (Baht: Monetary unit of the Kingdom of Thailand)

When I was supporting Japanese language education at a school in Thailand, I talked about a Japanese custom that we give away 5-yen coin to someone we wish to keep the relationship for long. When the time I returned home, a student remembered the story and gave me a 5-baht coin (“Haa” is 5 in Thai), hoping to remain our relationship. My job is to connect Japanese companies with foreigners, so I named my company “Haa Baht” from this episode.
